Kidd Panoscha Architecture & Design is a full-service architecture and design firm based in Portland OR. We are licensed in Oregon, Washington and Hawaii and take on select projects in these three states.
Our firm is experienced across all aspects of architectural and space planning and design. We work with residential, retail, and commercial clients to create the perfect solution for whatever the challenge.
For residential projects, we often work on new builds & construction, renovation, remodelling, additions and interior reconfigurations. For commercial projects, we often work on new spaces but also remodelling projects for commercial, work & maker and retail spaces.
As a boutique studio, our main area of focus is on personalized and functional spaces designed with your needs in mind. Since our studio’s inception, we have prioritized client experience and are very proud of our successfully completed projects, happy clients and glowing testimonials of our work.

At Kidd Panoscha Architecture & Design, we believe that all projects work best with a collaborative process. We love it when our clients want to be integrated in the design process and welcome as much involvement as they’d like!
Our guiding process remains the same, whether we take on a residential or commercial project. Each space may be different and have particular requirements, but our dedication to style and functionality stays at the forefront of every project.
PHASE 1
ARCHITECTURE & DESIGN PROCESS OVERVIEW
The majority of our clients come to us and have never worked with an architect before.
This is totally OK and it’s our pleasure to explain what it is that we do with regards to architecture and design, and how we might be able to work with you on the project you have in mind.
We begin by simply listening to your ideas and then we pull back the curtains on our services and work.
PHASE 2
DESIGN CONCEPT
Let the fun begin - this is where the project transforms from idea to reality!
We meet with our clients and review all specifications and details of the project (location, scope, timeline, budget etc.). Clients complete a questionnaire and review curated inspiration images. Our team will create drawings and mockups that illustrate our design concept and we will prepare layout plans.
Sometimes we hit the nail on the head on the first attempt and other times we might make revisions to the design before coming to a final version. Once that’s in place, we can move forward with the actual work on the project.
PHASE 3
DESIGN, WORK, BUILD
The heavy lifting and “real work” kicks off in the largest phase of the design and architecture project.
Our team works closely with your builders/construction teams to ensure that the space is designed and built according to plan. We draw on our decades of experience and project management skills to keep things moving according to schedule and on budget.
This process is a collaborative effort and we encourage our clients to be as involved in this process as they’d like!
PHASE 4
PROJECT COMPLETION AND WRAP UP
Bask in the beauty of the finished product! Behold your new/improved space in all it’s glory.
We take our clients on a final reveal and walk-through tour of the space, answer any remaining questions, and finalize the completion handover.
The project is now ready to wrap up: invoices are paid and you get the keys to your space!
