Wunderland Games
Located in Salem, Oregon, this 30,000-square-foot adaptive reuse transformed a former big-box retail space into a vibrant, two-story family entertainment center for Wunderland Games. The design introduced a prominent feature entry that draws visitors into expansive game areas across two levels, supported by integrated concessions and service cores. Signature attractions include a two-level go-kart track prefabricated in Slovenia and a multi-level laser tag arena prefabricated in Canada. The project required coordination across multiple international engineering teams and careful navigation of building codes to convert the occupancy from retail to amusement. Close collaboration with the client, Dickerhoof Properties, and Dalke Construction ensured a seamless delivery, resulting in a dynamic destination that enhances both visitor experience and tenant visibility within the larger commercial complex.
