Nestled among mature trees high on a 3.5-acre site off of Worden Hill Road in Dundee, Oregon, the Firesteed Tasting Room is sited to catch sweeping views of the Dundee Hills and farmland. The project was planned as an intimate tasting room to complement the restored traditional 1909 dwelling across the site. The residential scale of the tasting room, complete with traditional woodwork and detailing, is laid out to easily accommodate a mix of public and private events. Extensive multi-level covered terraces wrap around two sides, allowing patrons to enjoy the views and the mild Oregon climate. The lower level flows out onto the expansive outdoor garden event space, with the existing dwelling as the focal point beyond. The complex also includes a small 60 barrel fermentation winery building.
